Come Rock at the Clarendon Hills Park District!
Summer Session of Tot Rock and Kid Rock Begins on Tuesday, June 13
Sing, dance and play- make it a musical day! The Clarendon Hills Park District will present its summer session of Tot Rock and Kid Rock classes on Tuesday mornings at the Clarendon Hills Middle School, with programs running between June 13-August 8. Singing, dancing and playing musical instruments make mornings fun, and the Clarendon Hills Park District is offering three different levels of classes - allowing children and their parents the opportunity to "rock" the day away. Tot Rock will be held from 9:15 a.m. to 9:55 a.m., and is a first time music class for toddlers at least one year of age and a parent or caregiver. There will be hand bells, tambourines and maracas to play with, and tots always enjoy the parachute, scarves and ribbons. A new theme is presented with each session. Kid Rock I will meet from 10 a.m. to 10:40 a.m. and is a musical adventure for boys and girls ages 2 years of age or older and a parent or caregiver. In addition to musical entertainment, this class focuses in on socialization and learning. Kid Rock II is for boys and girls ages 3-5 years of age, and is a more advanced class focusing in on independence. Each of these classes has a $70.00 per child resident ($88.00 per child) non-resident fee. Registration remains open at the Clarendon Hills Park District, 315 E. Chicago Avenue.
