Community Art Project To Be Revealed In Clarendon Hills

Local residents will have the unique opportunity to see the ten hand-painted 24" x 36" fiberglass bees that will be on display this summer.

CLARENDON HILLS, IL — The Clarendon Hills Park Foundation will host a Reveal Picnic Party to celebrate the "Bees on Parade" community art project between noon and 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 19 at the Community Center, 315 E. Chicago Ave.

The park district said pizza will be served, and local residents will have the unique opportunity to see the ten hand-painted 24" x 36" fiberglass bees that will be on display across the village during the summer months. There will also be time set aside to meet the talented artists that helped create these bees.

The event serves as a fundraiser for the Clarendon Hills Park Foundation and is $10 for adults and $5 for children 3 and above. For an additional donation, families will have the opportunity to cast a vote for their favorite bee.
