Criminal Trespassing, DUI: Hinsdale Police Reports

The following items were taken from the Hinsdale police blotter. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Vandalism

  • A pay box was vandalized with a black marker in the Washington Street Parking Lot at 10:19 a.m. Sept. 26.

  • Darnell Daniel, 32, of Chicago, was arrested at 12:58 p.m. Sept. 27 at Garfield and Chicago avenues for obstructing identification, uninsured vehicle, failure to stop at stop sign and unlawful use of cellphone while driving.

Burglary to Vehicles

  • Unlocked vehicles were entered in the 800 block of Wilson and the 800 block of South Oak sometime between 8 p.m. Sept. 30 and 8 a.m. Oct. 1. Items taken include a key fob, a wallet valued at $30 containing about $20, and two pair of sunglasses with a total value of $950.

Retail Theft

  • A black male in his late 20s wearing a dark jacket and dark blue jeans stole two cartons of cigarettes from Shell, 210 E. Ogden, at 5:11 a.m. Oct. 1. The cigarettes were valued at $144.83. Suspect fled the scene in a gray Buick sedan.

Criminal Trespassing

  • Joan Workman, 56, of Brookfield, was arrested at 3:44 a.m. Oct. 2 at Hinsdale Hospital, 120 N. Oak St., for criminal trespassing.

DUI

  • Joseph Parsons Jr., 76, of La Grange Park, was arrested at 11:59 p.m. Oct. 2 in the 700 block of East 55th Street for DUI-alcohol and speeding.
