D-86 Holds Emergency Meeting On Coronavirus

The school board may take action. The district gave 20 minutes notice for the meeting.

HINSDALE, IL — The school board for Hinsdale High School District 86 is holding an emergency board meeting on the coronavirus. The session started at 5 p.m. The board may take action. The district gave notice of the meeting 20 minutes ahead of time.

Shortly after the announcement of the meeting, Clarendon Hills-based District 181, which serves elementary and middle school students, announced it was canceling extracurricular events for the time being. It said it would re-evaluate its decision next Thursday. District 181 said it has no confirmed coronavirus cases among students and staff.
