District 181 Hosts Student Art Show

Admission is free, community invited

More than 100 works of art created by School District 181 students will be on display for the general public at the Community House in Hinsdale from April 30 through May 4.

The D181 Student Art Show will feature 80 two-dimensional, three-dimensional, mixed and digital pieces that were selected for the April 28 West Suburban Consortium for Academic Excellence (WSCAE) juried Art Expo in Oak Park as well as additional works of art chosen by D181 elementary and middle school art teachers.

The D181 art show hours are noon to 8 p.m. on Monday, April 30; 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday through Thursday, May 1-3; and 8 a.m. to noon on Friday, May 4. Artwork will be on display in the hallways and in several rooms at The Community House, 415 W. 8th Street, Hinsdale.
