Darien Man Among Hinsdale DUI Arrests: Cops
Theft, damage and fraud are also in the village's latest police reports.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale released its latest police blotter Tuesday. Here is information from the reports:
DUIs
- Michael R. Apa, 38, of Darien, was arrested about 5 p.m. Friday at South Clay Street and West Hinsdale Avenue on charges of DUI, unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver and speeding. He refused testing to determine his blood-alcohol content. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Marko Ciric, 34, of Munster, Indiana, was arrested about 2 a.m. Saturday at Ogden Avenue and Elm Street on charges of DUI and speeding. He refused testing to determine his blood-alcohol content. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
Theft

- Checkbooks were stolen from a bag while a resident in the 1400 block of Burr Oak Road was in the process of moving. The theft occurred between noon and 5:30 p.m. April 8. It was reported four days later. The case is pending.
Damage
- Someone threw a rock at a car and shattered its back window overnight Friday in the 10 block of Orchard Road.
Fraud

- A resident in the 400 block of North County Line Road told police that he discovered his bank account had been compromised, with money missing. The fraud occurred between Dec. 1 and April 2. It was reported Wednesday.
Driving violations
- Terrence D. Ben, 40, of Crystal Lake, was cited about 11 p.m. April 12 in the 600 block of West Ogden Avenue on charges of driving with a revoked license, driving an uninsured car, unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver and speeding. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
