E-Dirt Bikers Seen In Hinsdale; 1 Caught
A boy was charged with fleeing and eluding an officer, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police released their latest weekly blotter Tuesday. Here is the information from the reports:
Fleeing and eluding
- Police were called about a group of youths riding electric dirt bikes about 1 p.m. June 7 at 55th Street and Garfield Avenue. Police cited a 16-year-old Palos Park boy on charges of no valid registration, fleeing or attempting to elude an officer in a motor vehicle, driving an uninsured vehicle and disobeying a stop sign. The boy was released to a parent.
- A 32-year-old Ottawa woman was arrested about 10 a.m. June 9 on charges of fleeing or attempting to elude an officer, no valid registration, driving an uninsured car and failing to yield to an emergency vehicle. Police said she fled from a traffic stop in Villa Park. She was given a date to appear in court and then released.

- Suspects were seen on surveillance video entering unlocked cars overnight June 9 in the 900 block of South Park Avenue and the 400 block of East Eighth Avenue. They rummaged through the cars' interiors. The cases are pending.
Suspected DUI
- Police responded to a crash about 7:30 p.m. Friday at County Line Road and Ogden Avenue. The suspect, who was suspected of being under the influence of drugs, refused a test. Police obtained a search warrant for the suspect's blood sample. The suspect was released, pending lab results.
