District 181 Earns State-Level Communication Awards

School District 181 has earned multiple awards for communications projects as part of a statewide Communications Contest.

Community Consolidated School District 181 has earned multiple awards for communications projects as part of a statewide Communications Contest sponsored by the Illinois Chapter of the National School Public Relations Association (INSPRA). District 181 Director of Communications Bridget McGuiggan earned a Golden Achievement Award of Excellence for her comprehensive communications efforts for the Hinsdale Middle School Referendum. Clarendon Hills Middle School band teachers Terry Melbourn and Rich Lehman and former D181 Assistant to the Director of Communications and Graphic Designer Audrey Galvin earned an Award of Excellence in the "Special Purpose" category for a band program publication. Also in the "Special Purpose" category, Galvin and Hinsdale Middle School band teacher George Andrikokus earned an Award of Merit for a pair of event fliers. Galvin and McGuiggan lastly earned an Award of Merit for the District's Strategic Plan materials.
