District 181 Preschoolers Participate in International Dot Day

Students in the D181 preschool program participated in International Dot Day, a global celebration of creativity based on the book The Dot.

On September 15, students in the District 181 preschool program participated in International Dot Day, a global celebration of creativity based on the book The Dot by Peter H. Reynolds. The story features the character Vashti, who, by making a simple dot on a piece of paper, is led on a journey of self-discovery. Teacher Megan Putbrese read the story to students, who then completed an art project to encourage their creative expression.
