District 181 Receives Financial Reporting Award

HINSDALE, IL — Community Consolidated School District 181 has earned the Certificate of Excellence in Financial Reporting from the Association of School Business Officials International. According to the district, it earned the award for having met or exceeded the program's high standards for financial reporting and accountability. The award, given for Fiscal Year 2017, represents a significant achievement and reflects the district's commitment to the highest standards of school system financial reporting.

This is the 14th consecutive year that District 181 has received the honor.

“This is a testament to the District’s commitment to transparency and high-quality financial reporting,” Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer Mohsin Dada said in a release. “The Certificate of Achievement is the highest form of recognition in governmental accounting and financial reporting and it represents a significant accomplishment by District 181 and its standards."

The district said the award is the highest honor given to a government entity and its management for fiscal practices.
