District 86 School Calendar 2018-19: First Day, Vacations

HINSDALE, IL — Hinsdale Township High School District 86 students will soon head back to school for the 2018-19 school year. The district has released its school calendar for the year, which is full of important dates to remember for both parents and students.

The calendar includes dates like winter and spring break, holidays, conferences and half days. Here is the list of days you should know for this school year:

• 8/10 - Freshman orientation day
• 8/15 - First day for all students

• 9/3 - Labor Day (No School)

October

• 10/8 - Columbus Day (No School)
• 10/24 - Early dismissal
• 10/26 - Parent teacher conferences (No School)

November

• 11/21-11/23 - Thanksgiving break (No School)

December

• 12/21-1/6 - Winter break (No School)

January

• 1/7 - Institute Day (No School)
• 1/8 - Classes resume
• 1/21 - Martin Luther King Jr. Day (No School)

February

• 2/18 - Presidents Day (No School)

May

• 5/22 - Hinsdale Central High School graduation
