Doctor's Office Theft, Dog Bite: Hinsdale Police
Equipment and vials were stolen from a Hinsdale physician's office, police say.
HINSDALE, IL — In recent days, Hinsdale police have handled cases involving a doctor's office theft, a dog bite, trespassing, vandalism, porch piracy and check fraud. Here is information from the latest Hinsdale police reports:
Doctor's office theft
- Equipment valued at $5,000 and Botox vials valued at $600 were stolen Jan. 13 from Aesthetic Medicine Center, 534 Chestnust St., No 110. The case is pending.
Dog bite

- A person was chased and bitten by a dog while walking on the sidewalk at 6:30 p.m. Sunday in the 400 block of South Madison Street. The dog's owner was cited, and an animal bite report was forwarded to DuPage County Animal Care and Control.
Trespassing
- Two men entered a house without permission about 10:30 a.m. Jan. 13 in the 10 block of East Fourth Street. The resident suspected the men were sent by the landlord. The men were described as white, in their 40s or 50s, and wearing casual clothing.
Damage

- Five windows were broken between Friday and Monday at the main entrance of the Institute of Basic Life Principles, 707 W. Ogden Ave.
Porch piracy
- A package containing sunglasses valued at $125 was stolen Jan. 4 from a front porch in the 10 block of South Bruner Street. The report was made Jan. 11.
Check fraud
- A resident in the 200 block of Mills Street told police Saturday that she received four checks totaling $4,289 for home care services that did not clear her account. The checks were from July 23 to Oct. 15.
Driving violations
- Joey Michael Hill, 21, of La Grange, was cited about 7:30 p.m. Jan. 13 at Route 83 and Ogden Avenue on charges of driving with a suspended license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and driving without a license plate light. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Kellen J. Dziewinski, 23, of Lombard, was cited about 10:30 p.m. Saturday in the 300 block of West Ogden Avenue on charges of driving with a suspended license and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Jonathan Silva, 19, of Chicago, was cited shortly before 10 p.m. Monday at 55th and Oak streets on charges of operating an uninsured motor vehicle, driving without a license plate light and no valid driver's license. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
