Domestic battery, DUI: Hinsdale Blotter
Man accused of battery is taken to county jail.

HINSDALE, IL — Hinsdale police released their latest blotter, which includes arrests on charges of domestic battery and DUI. The following information is from the police department:
- Raymond West, 47, of Oak Brook, was arrested shortly after 11 p.m. Dec. 3 at Ogden Avenue and County Line Road on charges of DUI, speeding and improper lane use. The suspect refused testing to determine his blood-alcohol content. He was released to appear in court.
- A theft was reported Dec. 6 in the 10 block of North Bruner Street. Street signs from Bruner and Maple and Bruner and Chicago Avenue were stolen. The pole at Bruner and Chicago was bent.
- Joanna M. Smith, 34, of Chicago, was arrested about 8 a.m. Dec. 8 at Route 83 and Ogden Avenue on a charge of driving with a suspended license. She was released to appear in court.
- Dominic O'Neill, 50, of Hinsdale, was arrested about 10 p.m. Dec. 9 in the 10 block of East Sixth Street on a charge of domestic battery. The suspect "made contact of an insulting or provoking nature" with a family member. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
