Domestic Battery At Hinsdale Hospital: Cops

In other cases, local police charged two people with drunken driving.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police released their latest blotter Wednesday. Here is information from the reports:

Domestic battery

  • A 36-year-old Chicago man was arrested about 9:30 a.m. Aug. 27 at the Hinsdale hospital, 120 N. Oak St., on charges of domestic battery and criminal property damage. The man was accused of making contact of an "insulting or provoking nature" with the victim in the parking lot. Police also said he damaged the victim's rear window.

DUI

  • A 21-year-old Homewood woman was arrested about 3 p.m. Saturday at Route 83 and 55th Street on a DUI charge. Police were called to a crash involving two cars. The woman submitted to testing that indicated she was over the legal limit. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • A 54-year-old Forest Park man was arrested about 8 p.m. Wednesday at Monroe Street and Ogden Avenue on charges of DUI, no headlights or taillights, and improper lane use. He refused testing to determine his blood-alcohol content. He was released and given a date to appear in court.

Damage

  • Someone damaged a bench and signs between Aug. 23 and Aug. 26 at KLM Park, 5905 S. County Line Road.
