Dr. Michelle Sweet-Albores joins Elmhurst Memorial Medical Group in Hinsdale

Dr. Sweet-Albores is accepting new patients at EMMG's office in the Edward-Elmhurst Health Center, 8 Salt Creek Ln. in Hinsdale.

Michelle Sweet-Albores, MD, board certified in family medicine, has joined Elmhurst Memorial Medical Group (EMMG).

Dr. Sweet-Albores is accepting new patients at EMMG’s office in the Edward-Elmhurst Health Center, 8 Salt Creek Ln. in Hinsdale (Ogden Ave. and Salt Creek Ln., just west of I-294). Dr. Sweet-Albores received her medical degree from the Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and completed her residency at Adventist Hinsdale Hospital Family Medicine Residency.

Dr. Sweet-Albores’ clinical interests include preventive medicine, women’s and children’s health, dermatology, travel medicine and aesthetics.

She is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Association and International Society of Travel Medicine.

In addition to Dr. Sweet-Albores’ family medicine services, the Edward-Elmhurst Health Center offers:

  • Immediate Care for illnesses and injuries that are not life-threatening, such as cuts that may need stitches, minor burns, abrasions, broken bones, sprains, high fevers, sore throats, earaches, allergies, minor skin rashes, minor back/joint/muscle pain, and work-related illnesses and injuries. No appointment is necessary for Immediate Care, which is open Mon. – Fri., 8 a.m. – 8 p.m. and Sat., Sun. and holidays, 8 a.m. – 6 p.m.
  • Primary care physicians and specialists, including Kinley Berger, MD, OB/GYN; Ronald Cheff, MD, internal medicine; Roger MacDuff, DO, OB/GYN and Anna Sorokin, MD, neurology.
  • Linden Oaks Behavioral Health and the physicians and therapists of Linden Oaks Medical Group, who provide adult and adolescent outpatient programs for alcohol/drug addiction, anxiety disorders, depression, bipolar disorder and other mood disorders, as well as medication management and counseling.
  • Imaging: A full array of radiology services, including digital X-ray, mammogram, ultrasound and Dexa bone scans.
