Driver In Hinsdale May Have Pointed Gun: Cops

The man faces felony charges in connection with his loaded gun, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police said they were called to an incident Monday in which a driver was believed to have pointed a gun at a person in another car.

The incident occurred about 4 p.m. at Route 83 and 16th Street, police said.

Jose Rojas, 28, of Cicero, was found with a loaded pistol with a defaced serial number, police said. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.

He was charged with felony aggravated unlawful use of a weapon, meaning he had a loaded weapon without a firearm owner's identification card, police said.

He also was charged with felony aggravated unlawful use of a weapon in connection with the apparent defacing of identification marks on a gun.
