Drunk Driver From Texas Had Loaded Gun In Car: Cops

Also in the Hinsdale police blotter: A man is accused of stealing another's wallet at a gas station.

The following information is from the Hinsdale Police Department. An arrest is not an indication of guilt.

DUI

Tanner Lewis Womack, 26, of Kirbyville, Texas was charged with DUI-alcohol, unlawful use of a weapon, speeding and having an open container of alcohol at Ogden Avenue and Oak Street at 3:18 a.m. on April 15. A loaded handgun and open alcohol were located inside vehicle.

Theft Of Lost Or Mislaid Property

Anthony Dean Miller, 28, of Brookfield was charged with theft of mislaid property at BP, 149 E. Ogden Ave. A victim reported losing his wallet with $600 in it at the gas station between 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m. on April 12 and Miller was seen picking up the victim’s wallet and leaving the station.

Hit And Run

A victim reported that someone struck his vehicle while it was parked in the street and damaged the mirror. It was parked in the 600 block of South Grant Street between 6:15 p.m. on April 9 and 6:40 a.m. on April 10 when it was damaged.
