DUI, Obstructing Identification: Hinsdale Police Reports
Hinsdale Police reports through Jan. 9.

The following items were taken from the Hinsdale police blotter. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
DUI
- William Cantalupo, 64, of Darien, was arrested at 1:41 a.m. Dec. 23 in the 100 block of East Ogden for DUI-alcohol, speeding and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

- Arielle Paxton, 23, of Chicago, was arrested at 1:32 p.m. Jan. 8 at Oak and Ogden for obstructing identification (misdemeanor) and driving while license suspended. Paxton had an outstanding warrant from DuPage Counton and was taken to DuPage County Jail.
Attempted Retail Theft
- A security device was damaged on a cell phone at 12:30 p.m. Jan. 8 at Verizon Wireless, 26 E. First St. An employee retrieved the cell phone and saw the security cord had been cut.
