Man tells officer he had up to 10 Corona beers before he got behind wheel, report says.
HINSDALE, IL — A DUI suspect with six children in his car told Hinsdale police he had eight or 10 Corona beers before driving, according to a report. His blood-alcohol level was found to be twice the legal limit, police said.
Through a public records request, Hinsdale Patch obtained the report involving Arcadio Quiroz-Ramirez, 37, of Streamwood. He was stopped about 1:30 a.m. Oct. 18 on Ogden Avenue, near York Road.
Quiroz-Ramirez had eight other people in the Ford Explorer he was driving — six children, his wife and his cousin, police said. None of the children were properly seated in child seats or properly fastened by seat belts, according to the report.
