The following items were taken from the Hinsdale police blotter. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
DUI
- Itzel Santiago, 31, of the 5500 block of South Madison, was arrested at 4:07 a.m. Oct. 14 at Ogden and Route 83 for DUI-alcohol and parking in the roadway.
- Mark Stanley, 57, of Chicago, was arrested at 10:05 p.m. Oct. 11 at Route 83 and 31st Street for DUI-alcohol and speeding.

- Someone damaged the locks and doors on a village building at Pierce Park sometime between 12 p.m. Oct. 5 and 8:30 a.m. Oct. 9 at Pierce Park, 700 E. Walnut St. Nothing was reported missing.
- A homeowner found the lock on his front door had been broken sometime between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. on Oct. 10 and the door was ajar in the 100 block of South Stough Street. Several pieces of jewelry were stolen from a jewelry box in a bedroom.
