DUIs, Car Burglaries: Hinsdale Blotter

The following items were taken from the Hinsdale police blotter. Arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty.

DUI

• Terese Shepley, 40, Indian Head Park, was arrested at 1:05 a.m. Aug. 6 at 55th and Elm streets for DUI-alcohol and speeding.
• Cody Rychter, 24, Addison, was arrested at 1:25 a.m. Aug. 12 at Route 83 and Chicago Avenue for DUI-alcohol and speeding.
• Heidi Keeling, 52, of the 500 block of West North Street, was arrested at 10:48 p.m. Aug. 11 at Hinsdale Police Department for DUI-alcohol and speeding.
• Jonathan Vargas, 28, Loves Park, was arrested at 1:40 a.m. Aug. 13 at Ogden Avenue and Pasquinelli Driver for DUI-alcohol, speeding and expired registration.

Attempted Burglary

• A pry mark on the door frame of Hinsdale Fruit Store, 26 W. First St., occurred sometime between 6 p.m. Aug. 4 and 7 a.m. Aug. 10. No entry was made, and nothing was stolen.

Burglary To Vehicle

• An unlocked vehicle was rummaged through sometime between 11:30 p.m. Aug. 11 and 5:30 a.m. Aug. 12 in the 600 block of West Chicago. Nothing was reported missing.
• Three unlocked vehicles were entered and two driver's permits, CDs, $80 cash, driver's license, credit card and a debit card were stolen sometime between 6 p.m. Aug. 11 and 9:15 a.m. Aug. 12 in the 500 block of West Maple.
