DUIs, Car Burglaries: Hinsdale Police
Hinsdale officers arrested three people on DUI charges in recent days.
HINSDALE, IL — Car burglaries and DUI arrests were among the incidents handled by the Hinsdale Police Department in recent days. Here is information from the department's latest blotter:
- Robert D. Bruce, 36, of Forest Park, was arrested shortly before 10 p.m. March in the 10 block of East Ogden Avenue on charges of DUI, speeding and operating an uninsured vehicle. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Cars were burglarized between 10 p.m. March 3 and 2:15 a.m. March 4 in the 5500 block of South Elm Street. Someone rummaged through the cars and stole credit cards and a pair of prescription sunglasses.
- A hit-and-run accident happened about 8:15 a.m. March 4 in the 400 block of West 58th Place. A person driving a black SUV hit the victim's car as she was backing out of her driveway.
- Robert C. La Mantia, 55, of Downers Grove, was arrested about 1:30 a.m. March 4 in the 700 block of East 55th Street on charges of obstructing an officer and speeding. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Arturo Raigosa, 37, of Brookfield, was arrested about 4 a.m. March 5 at County Line Road and Woodland Avenue on charges of DUI and improper stopping or parking on road. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Elizabeth Fries, 39, of Brookfield, was arrested about 4 a.m. March 7 in the 300 block of West Ogden Avenue on charges of no valid driver's license, operating a vehicle while using a phone and operating an uninsured motor vehicle. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
- John M. Thomas Jr., 51, of Chicago, was arrested at 11 p.m. March 6 at the BP gas station, 149 E. Ogden Ave. on charges of DUI and no valid driver's license. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
