DUIs, Damage To House: Hinsdale Cops
Two drivers arrested on charges of DUI, with one refusing testing, police say.
HINSDALE, IL ā Hinsdale police released their latest blotter Tuesday. Here is information from the police reports:
DUI
- Jose I. Esteban, 56, of Chicago, was arrested about 3 a.m. Jan. 24 at Ogden Avenue and York Road on charges of DUI, disobeying a traffic control device and failing to signal when required. According to a police report, he refused testing to determine his blood-alcohol content. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- Deepak Malhotra, 61, of Glendale Heights, was arrested about 9 p.m. Thursday in the 200 block of South Bruner Street on charges of DUI and failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. According to a police report, the suspect crashed into a legally parked car on the street. He submitted to testing that indicated he was over the legal limit. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
Damage

- A window was broken at 10 p.m. Friday on the second floor of a vacant and fenced-in house in the 400 block of East Sixth Street.
- Someone damaged a "no skating" sign and the liner of an ice skating rink between 2:30 a.m. Jan. 22 and 7:30 a.m. Jan. 27 at Burns Field, 321 N. Vine St.
Warrant
- Aristos M. Leludis, 71, of Brookfield, was arrested about 10 a.m. Saturday on a Lyons warrant. The suspect was released and given a date to appear in court.

- A resident in the 400 block of South Jackson Street sold a video game console through eBay Jan. 13 and did not receive payment from the buyer. The victim reported a loss of $500. The incident was reported Jan. 27.
