DUIs, Fugitive Driver: Hinsdale Cops

Both drunken driving suspects submitted to testing that indicated they were above the legal limit.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police released their latest blotter Wednesday. Here is information from the reports:

DUIs

  • David A. Rojo, 19, of Villa Park, was arrested about 12:30 a.m. Friday at Route 83 and Ogden Avenue on charges of DUI, felony possession of marijuana and improper lighting. Rojo submitted to testing that indicated he was over the legal limit. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
  • John D. Hackney, 40, of Chicago, was arrested about 9:30 p.m. Saturday in the 10 block of East Ogden Avenue on charges of DUI and speeding. He submitted to testing that indicated he was over the legal limit. He was released and given a date to appear in court.

  • A man was stopped for a lane violation about 4 p.m. Wednesday in the 10 block of West 55th Street. He sped away after he provided his driver's license and insurance. An arrest warrant was obtained for his arrest. Charges are pending.

Theft

  • A rear license plate was stolen from a car between 9 a.m. Thursday and 12:30 p.m. Friday in the Gateway Square parking lot, 777 N. York Road.
