Equipment Stolen In Hinsdale Neighborhood: Cops

In another case, a woman lost her credit card, which was then fraudulently used at a Hinsdale gas station, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police released their latest blotter Tuesday. Here is information from the reports:

Theft

  • Someone stole a leaf blower from the back of a pickup truck parked in a driveway in the 700 block of South Adams Street. The theft occurred between 9:30 p.m. and midnight April 20.

Fraud

  • A woman told police about the fraudulent use of her credit card about 1 p.m. Thursday at Shell gas station, 210 E. Ogden Ave. She said she lost the card at a grocery store before the fraudulent charge.

Warrant

  • A 23-year-old Summit man was arrested about 12:30 p.m. Friday at Ogden and Hampton avenues on a Cook County warrant. He was cited on a charge of driving without a valid license. He was stopped for speeding.
