Everyone is invited to cool off with an ice cream sundae while enjoying the beautiful barbershop harmonies of “The Moonlighters” Barbershop Quartet at the 5th Annual Clarendon Hills Library Ice Cream Social on Thursday, August 11th, 7:00 – 8:30 pm. The library is located at 7 North Prospect Avenue. Weather-permitting, the festivities will be held outdoors in the Library’s garden.
Entries for the “One World, Many Stories” Adult Summer Reading Club prize drawing will be accepted through noon on Thursday, August 11th . That evening at the event, one name will be drawn to win a Barnes & Noble “Nook” e-reader. The winner need not be present to win. This event is sponsored by the Clarendon Hills Bank.
