To celebrate our summer reading theme of “Reading is So Delicious!” everyone is invited to enter the Clarendon Hills Library’s first ever “Edible Book Contest” on Saturday, July 28th.
What is an edible book? It’s any representation of a book title that is made primarily from edible materials. It can be as fancy as an elaborately decorated cake or as simple as a bowl full of grapes (The Grapes of Wrath?). This is a chance to have fun and be creative. (For more ideas, just search “edible books” on your computer.)
Awards will be made in the following categories: Children entering 5th grade or younger, young adults entering grades 6-12, college age and up, and families.
