A Halloween party for children will take place on Thursday, Oct. 28, at The Birches Assisted Living, 215 55th St., Clarendon Hills. The public is warmly welcome.
Grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and friends are invited to trick or treat in costume from apartment to apartment starting at 6 p.m.
At 6:45 p.m., a fun variety show features entertainer Jason Kollum - juggler, stilt walker, and balloon artist. A resident of Buffalo Grove, Kollum first learned how to juggle in 1995.
"While it started out just being a hobby, juggling and entertaining now has been my full time career for the last seven years," he said. "I've been juggling for over 14 years, and I love it. I can't wait until The Birches' audience sees my newest tricks."
