Feds Arrest Hinsdale Gang Member: Prosecutors

He was among a group of nine people charged in a drug operation, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office.

HINSDALE, IL – A Hinsdale gang member is among nine people arrested as part of a drug operation, federal prosecutors announced Thursday.

Marcus Taylor, 38, was charged with distributing a controlled substance – at least 1.1 pounds of a mixture containing a detectable amount of cocaine, according to a news release from the U.S. Attorney's Office in Chicago. The release did not say where Taylor lived in Hinsdale.

The other eight suspects were from Chicago. The suspects are associated with the Black P Stone Nation street gang, officials said.

Taylor is an alleged associate of the Rack City faction of the gang, according to the release.

During the multi-year investigation, authorities seized 62 guns, 13 pounds of cocaine, a pound of heroin or fentanyl, and half a pound of crack cocaine, the release said.
