Forgery, Drugs In Car: Hinsdale Police

A business check was forged at a local law office late last month, police say.

HINSDALE, IL — The Hinsdale Police Department released information from its latest blotter Tuesday:

  • Someone forged a business check for $1,711 on March 30 at James J. Roche & Associates, 920 N. York Road. The incident was reported April 17.
  • Chelsea S. Camacho, 23, of Chicago, was arrested about 10:30 p.m. April 15 in the 600 block of West Ogden Avenue on charges of unlawful possession of marijuana by a driver and speeding. She was released and given a date to appear in court.
  • A woman kicked and damaged a door at her boyfriend's apartment about 4 a.m. April 19 in the 200 block of West 59th Street.

Police report information is provided by local police departments. Charges are not evidence of guilt. They are a record of police actions on a given day, and persons charged with a crime are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.
