HINSDALE, IL - More than $80,000 was raised for the Robert Crown Center for Health Education in Hinsdale during their annual golf invitational earlier this month at the Ruth Lake Country Club. The funds will fuel the organization’s 'Health Education for All' initiative that allows the Robert Crown Center to serve low-income communities, according to a news release.

“All students deserve to understand their bodies and how they will change as they grow,” said
Robert Crown Center Executive Director Barb Thayer. “By teaching students how to have
conversations about these difficult topics and how to manage the social-emotional changes that
go along with the physical changes we prepare them for the challenges that they face as they
get older.”

More than 100 golfers came out for 18 holes and a dinner that followed in support of the center's efforts on June 11.
