Group Backing Hinsdale D86 Hopefuls Disbands After 4 Days
All three candidates said they were running individually. Two have their own committees now.
HINSDALE, IL – The political committee that was formed to support three candidates for the Hinsdale High School District 86 board disbanded after four days.
All three candidates – Kay Gallo, Catherine Greenspon and Andrew Catton – told Patch they were running individually.
Early Monday afternoon, the committee filed its final report with the state Board of Elections. That was about an hour after Patch published a story about the committee, which was called "Gallo, Greenspon, Catton for D86."

The committee's officers were chairwoman Angela Sartori and treasurer Stephanie Geier.
About an hour after the committee disbanded, Catherine Greenspon formed her political committee with Geier as the treasurer.

Greenspon had an earlier committee from Jan. 13 to Jan. 19. It dissolved four hours before Gallo, Greenspon, Catton for D86 began its short run.
Gallo, Greenspon and Catton all are in favor of ousting Superintendent Tammy Prentiss.
Gallo formed her political committee in late August, while Andrew Catton has no committee, according to elections board records.
The two remaining candidates, Deborah Willoughby and Asma Akhras, have formed committees.
Patch left a message for Geier and Sartori, the officers for the now-defunct committee.
