Gunshot Fired In Hinsdale, Suspect Resisted Arrest: Cops

Police say a 53-year-old Hinsdale man fired a gun from his balcony into a backyard on Park Avenue.

HINSDALE, IL — A Hinsdale man faces two charges, one felony and one misdemeanor, after police responded to a report of a man shooting a gun from his balcony last Wednesday.

Hinsdale police showed up at the home in the 5700 block of South Park Avenue after a call at 5:03 p.m. on April 10. They were told a man, later identified as 53-year-old Timothy Rhead, was shooting a gun from his balcony into the backyard.

Rhead was found inside the home, according to police, and police said he resisted arrest.

Charges handed out were a felony count of reckless discharge of a firearm and a misdemeanor count of resisting a peace officer.
