Halloween Hound Hunt: Oct. 10 in Prospect Park

A Pet Friendly Day at the Clarendon Hills Park District

You’ll be barking up the wrong tree if you don’t bring your treasured family pooch to the Clarendon Hills Park District’s Halloween Hound Hunt on Saturday, Oct. 10. This event will take place between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m., with the fun beginning at the Prospect Park Pavilion. Dogs and their families will then be led on a scavenger hunt throughout the park, searching for orange and black eggs containing special treats for local pets. Costumes are encouraged. A costume contest and eating contest will also take place that day. Representatives from several pet friendly organizations will be on hand to make the day even more memorable! There is a $10.00 fee per dog for families living in Clarendon Hills. Pets from neighboring communities will be charged $13.00 each. Advance registration at the Clarendon Hills Park District, 315 E. Chicago Avenue, must take place by Oct. 5. All dogs must remain leashed throughout the program! It’s a dog’s life at the Clarendon Hills Park District’s first ever Halloween Hound Hunt!
