Happy Campers at the Clarendon Hills Park District!

It's not too late to join in the summer day camp fun at the Clarendon Hills Park District! Two of the park district's most popular activities -- Camp Imagination and Camp MVP - will be accepting registration for Session IV programs through Wednesday, July 19. Session IV begins on Monday, July 24 and ends on Thursday, August 3. Both of these camping programs are designed for children entering kindergarten through fifth grade in the fall and meet at the Clarendon Hills Middle School, Mondays through Thursdays. Camp Imagination is a traditional program which explores a new theme each day! There are water days, inflatable days and in-house entertainment days, all designed around the program theme. Camp meets from 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. four days per week, with campers bringing a non-perishable lunch and beverage to camp each day. There is a $156.00 resident ($195.00 non-resident) fee for Session IV activities. Camp MVP is a sports camp which meets from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m., Mondays through Thursdays. Football, baseball, basketball, Capture the Flag, Ultimate Frisbee, Flag Tag, Pac Man, and Ultimate Relays are just a few of the sports and games young athletes will enjoy at this popular program which has a $142.00 resident ($178.00 non-resident) fee for Session IV. The Clarendon Hills Park District is also accepting registration for its new camp program for preschoolers - Camp Mini S'mores. This one week camp extension will run from 9:15 a.m. until 11:15 a.m., Mondays through Thursdays, at the Clarendon Hills Park District Community Center. There will be games, crafts, indoor and outdoor play. Registration for all camp programs takes places at the Community Center, 315 E. Chicago Avenue, or on-line at www.clarendonhillsparkdistrict.org.
