Help Wanted: Seasonal Summer Jobs Available at the Clarendon Hills Park District

Applications Available at the Community Center

The Clarendon Hills Park District, 315 E. Chicago Avenue, is currently accepting applications for seasonal, part-time positions for the summer of 2017. During the upcoming season, jobs will be available for lifeguards, swim instructors and day camp counselors. In addition, the parks maintenance staff occasionally hires extra staff for the summer. All applications may be picked up at the Clarendon Hills Park District Community Center, 315 E. Chicago Avenue. Regular business hours at the Community Center are from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. Mondays through Fridays. In addition, the Clarendon Hills Park District will be one of several local park districts participating in a free Teen Job Fair between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Feb. 24 at the Westmont Park District, 75 E. Richmond Avenue. Representatives from several local park districts will be on hand to discuss their summer employment opportunities. Immediately preceding the Teen Job Fair, there will be an Interview/Application Boot Camp for teens and young adults ages 15-22. This program will also take place at the Westmont Park District and has a $10.00 resident ($15.00 non-resident) fee. Participants will learn how to prepare an effective application or resume and how to search for and interview for a job. There will even be information on how to learn how to use social media in a job search.
