Hinsdale Auxiliary Plans Sherry Party

The organization will be collecting gift cards for foster children who are supported by Children's Home and Aid.

HINSDALE, IL — The Hinsdale Auxiliary will once again host its Sherry Party event to support Children's Home and Aid. According to the organization, the party will be held from 6 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 6 at Vintage Charm in Hinsdale.

This year, the organization will be collecting gift cards for foster children who are supported by Children's Home and Aid. Target gift cards will also be given to children living at The Rice Center. The gift cards are given to each child on their birthday so they can shop on their special day, the organization said.

Hinsdale Auxiliary is requesting gift cards specifically this holiday season to Walmart, Best Buy, Forever 21, Game Stop, Jewel Osco, Amazon, Target and gas cards.

Vintage Charm will also be donating 10 percent of sales for both the Hinsdale and Clarendon Hills locations to benefit Children's Home and Aid. Elyce Rembos will also make a matching donation through Green Goddess Charitable Foundation, the organization said.
