Hinsdale Break-Ins Part of Larger Pattern: Cops
Jewelry was stolen in two recent Hinsdale burglaries, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – Two burglaries on the south side of Hinsdale happened at some point in the last 10 days, police said.
The first break-in was in the 10 block of West 55th Street, where suspects found an unlocked back door, police said.
In the second case, a house was burglarized in the 100 block of East Eighth Street, where glass in a kitchen door was broken to gain entry, police said. Jewelry was reported stolen in both cases.

Hinsdale police said a pattern of residential burglaries has been reported in towns in the area, occurring mainly after dusk.
"We believe that these two burglaries are connected to this larger pattern, and we are actively pursuing leads in these incidents," police said in a news release.
