Hinsdale Car Theft Cases Yield Arrests

One of the suspects stole a Jaguar from a garage, police say.

HINSDALE, IL — Hinsdale police arrested two South Holland men this week in connection with car thefts, police said in a news release. The arrests were part of a larger operation involving area law enforcement agencies that resulted in a total of nine suspects charged.

Christian Green, 18, of Harvey, has been charged with one count of residential burglary and one count of aggravated possession of a stolen vehicle. The charges stem from a Feb. 9 incident in which Green entered a garage on South Lincoln Street and stole a Jaguar, police said. The Jaguar sped away from Hinsdale police later in the morning of Feb. 9 in south suburban Harvey, according to the release. Green is in the DuPage County Jail on a $75,000 bond.

Jarone Carter, 24, has been charged with one count of possession of a stolen motor vehicle. He is in the DuPage County Jail on a $50,000 bond. Carter's charges involve the possession of a stolen Audi A6 in Hinsdale on Tuesday, police said.
