Hinsdale High Schools Ranked Among State's Best: US News and World Report

HINSDALE, IL - Hinsdale Central High School has been ranked the seventh best high school in Illinois, and Hinsdale South has been ranked 28th best, according to U.S. News and World Report.

U.S. News and World Report said schools are ranked based on their performance on state-required tests and how well they prepare students for college. Hinsdale Central has a 62.8/100 for college readiness, and has a 95 percent graduation rate. Hinsdale South has a 44.5/100 for college readiness, and has a 90 percent graduation rate.

Hinsdale Central was also ranked 332 in the national rankings, and 118 for STEM High Schools, while Hinsdale South was ranked 981 in the national rankings. Hinsdale Central is located at 5500 S Grant St., in Hinsdale, and Hinsdale South is located at 7401 Clarendon Hills Road, in Darien.
