The people were at two different schools as recently as Wednesday. School is not in session.
HINSDALE, IL — School District 181, which serves Hinsdale and Clarendon Hills, announced Thursday that two people at its schools have tested positive for the coronavirus. One was at Oak School and the other was at Hinsdale Middle School, the district said.
The last time the two were on site at the schools while possibly contagious was Wednesday morning, according to a district statement. It was determined that no one was in close contact with them, with close contact defined as within 6 feet for 15 minutes in a row.
The district said it has been in close communication with the DuPage County Health Department, which reviewed the district's statement before it was released. The district also said it discussed the matter with its lawyer to make sure it was meeting its obligations to protect the people's privacy.
