HINSDALE, IL – A top official at Hinsdale High School District 86 may leave at the end of this school year.

The district is advertising for an assistant superintendent of student services, a position now occupied by Brad Verthein.

"We are calling it an anticipated opening because he is currently a finalist for a position in a different district," district spokesman Chris Jasculca said in an email to Patch on Monday.
