Hinsdale D-86 Reveals Reopening Details

HINSDALE, IL — Hinsdale High School District 86 announced to the public Friday afternoon that it would bring about a quarter of its students back on campus the week of Oct. 5.

By comparison, Elmhurst School District 205 is moving to have all of its students back at York High School by that point. District 205 officials said York was the first public high school to open its doors to general education students in DuPage County.

Students in both the Elmhurst and Hinsdale districts are set to receive a mix of in-person and remote lessons.

District 86 is using an algorithm to sort its students into four equal groups, according to its website.
