Hinsdale D86 'Hypocrisy' On Meeting Videos?
It's unknown how the board president decides which meetings are to be recorded.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale High School District 86 board on Thursday plans to discuss the recording and broadcasting of the board's special and committee meetings.
Member Kay Gallo has been pushing the board to post video of all the meetings.
But board President Catherine Greenspon has not called for recording them yet, despite a campaign statement that she favored such a move.

According to the board's meeting agenda for Thursday, members in May directed staff to carry out a process to record the board's committee meetings after July 1.
Since taking office, Greenspon has not spoken publicly about which meetings she wants on video.

On Tuesday, Yvonne Mayer, who frequently attends board meetings, emailed the entire board, encouraging them to record all sessions.
She said Greenspon has selectively directed which public special meetings should be recorded.
Mayer noted that Gallo took matters into her own hands, recording the July 13 special meeting and sharing it on Facebook. Unfortunately, Mayer said, the video has not yet found its way into the district's video log.
"Most recently, during your campaigns this year, two of you – Ms. Greenspon and Ms. Gallo – were openly critical of past practices that occurred under the (Erik) Held and (Terri) Walker boards in the two years preceding your election," Mayer told the board. "Now, the current board, led by President Greenspon, has done nothing to change these past practices, and the hypocrisy I have witnessed is stunning."
Greenspon has not returned Patch's numerous messages since she took the helm in early May.
