Hinsdale Downtown Businesses Targeted

A restaurant and a barbershop were hit around the same time, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – Suspects targeted a restaurant and a barbershop in downtown Hinsdale within an hour of each other last week, police said.

About 4:30 a.m. July 6, video surveillance showed suspects entering through a window at Hinsdale Barber Shop, 20 W. Hinsdale Ave., according to a police report. Nothing was reported missing from the business.

A half hour later, a window at Wild Ginger restaurant, 44 S. Washington St., was smashed, police said. A witness heard the glass break and saw two people running from the area.

The two businesses are within a block of each other. The cases are pending, police said.

On Tuesday, two Hinsdale restaurants also experienced damage.
