Hinsdale DUI Suspect Drives Wrong Way, Crashes Into Wall: Cops
Another drunken-driving suspect was found slumped over behind the wheel, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police released their latest blotter Tuesday. Here is information from the reports:
DUI
- A 30-year-old St. Charles man was arrested about 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Route 83 and Chicago Avenue on charges of DUI, driving the wrong way on a divided highway, failing to reduce speed to avoid an accident and possessing open alcohol by a driver. The man was driving in the wrong lane and crashed into a wall. He failed to produce a breath sample to determine his blood-alcohol content. He was released and given a date to appear in court.
- A 34-year-old Naperville man was arrested about 3 a.m. Wednesday at Elm and Walnut streets on charges of DUI, driving with a suspended license, driving an uninsured car, possessing open alcohol by a driver, and stopping, standing or parking on the roadway. The man was slumped over in the driver's seat at the intersection. He refused to be tested to determine his blood-alcohol content. He was released and given a date to appear in court.

- A resident in the 5800 block of South Madison Street told police Tuesday that someone called her and instructed her to deposit money into a bitcoin account. She recognized it was a scam after complying. The case is pending.
