Hinsdale DUI Suspect Had Open Beer Bottles: Cops
In other cases, local officers arrested men wanted on warrants, police said.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale police released their latest blotter Wednesday. Here is information from the reports:
DUI
- A 23-year-old man from Chicago was arrested about 9:30 p.m. Saturday at York Road and Ogden Avenue on charges of DUI, illegal transportation of alcohol, improper lane use, no valid driver's license and no seatbelt. A witness told police about a suspected drunken driver. The man submitted to testing that indicated he was over the legal limit. He had two open beer bottles in the passenger compartment. He was wanted on a DuPage County warrant. The man was released and given a date to appear in court.
Hit-and-run

- A hit-and-run crash took place between 9 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Sunday at Whole Foods, 500 E. Ogden Ave. Someone struck a parked car. The case is pending.
Warrants
- A 37-year-old man from Naperville was arrested about 6 p.m. Thursday in the 700 block of Wilson Lane on a DuPage County warrant. He was taken to the DuPage County Jail.
- A 33-year-old man from Bolingbrook was arrested about 10 p.m. Thursday at the BP gas station, 149 E. Ogden Ave., on a Will County warrant. He was taken to the Will County Jail.
Identity theft

- A resident in the 400 block of Pamela Circle told police Sept. 5 that someone tried to buy a car at a dealership using the resident's identity. The case is pending.
- A resident in the 800 block of Merrill Woods Road told police Sept. 6 that someone opened a bank account using the resident's identity in July. The person also gained access to her existing account and altered information. The case is pending.
