Hinsdale Gets New Parks Official
The new superintendent has worked for park districts in other towns.

HINSDALE, IL – Hinsdale has hired a new parks and recreation superintendent, replacing the one who left for the city of Elmhurst in July.
At Tuesday's Village Board meeting, Mike Hayes was announced as the new superintendent.
According to the village, he has worked for park districts in Tinley Park, Aurora and Bensenville.

Hayes was most recently the superintendent of recreation for the Bensenville Park District.
In July, Heather Bereckis resigned as Hinsdale's parks and recreation superintendent and became the new business development manager in Elmhurst.

Bereckis had worked for Hinsdale since 2013.
