Hinsdale Holiday Express Train Returns
Two trains will run for the event, and a lottery will be held for those who register.

HINSDALE, IL — Hinsdale Parks and Recreation's popular Holiday Express Train has returned for another year. The train leaves from the Hinsdale train station and travels to the North Pole (the Aurora train station). The express will run on Sunday, Dec. 17 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Seats are limited.
The department said once the train arrives at the North Pole, families will enter America's Historic Roundhouse Restaurant banquet room at the train station. Children are encouraged to wear their pajamas, as they enjoy a buffet meal and a visit with Santa. There will be time for photos with Santa, entertainment, and holiday craft projects for the kids.

immediate family members living in the same household and is limited to Hinsdale residents. All children under the age of two who need a seat will be charged $2. Due to limited seating, non-residents will not be accepted for this event until after the lottery is held.
Tickets are $38 for anyone over two.
