Hinsdale House Burglarized In Middle Of Day: Cops

Police are looking for a particular car that was spotted in the area around the time of the burglary.

HINSDALE, IL — A house was burglarized around lunchtime Thursday in the 800 block of North Oak Street, near Ogden Avenue, according to a Hinsdale police news release. The residents were not home at the time.

Detectives are interested in identifying a dark Chevrolet Equinox with tinted windows that was spotted in the area, police said.

"Any video or help is appreciated, especially if you are in the immediate area and had unexpected visitors at your door," police said in the release.

Police are labeling the crime a "forced" residential burglary.
